Malibu Taco Gets an Awesome Patio Combo!

Not that long ago the NH Awning Crew was at it again. This time we visited Malibu Taco in Fairfield, CT to install a great KE Triumph retractable awning as well as some awesome KE glass screens. Since I am sure you are as excited as we are about this project I will jump right into the details. KE Triumph Retractable Awning: (View PDF) For the retractable awning we used the Triumph line made by KE Outdoor Living and used the incredible Sunbrella fabric for the cover. The Triumph line boasts that it is the “most heavy duty retractable awning model for larger residential or commercial spaces”. This system uses some of the highest quality components in our industry to guarantee superior strength to combat whatever mother nature can throw at it and maintenance-free operation for many years. KE Glass Windscreens: (View PDF) For these incredible barriers we used the caFé au Lä collection by KE. These amazing little wonders are an easily adjustable windscreen that is great for any restaurant patio and terrace. That’s right, adjustable! With one finger I can easily raise a panel to completely block out the wind and enjoy one of my favorites, the...

Vasi’s Taverna Gets a Visit From New Haven Awning and Gordon Ramsay!

Just last month the NH Awning crew was in Waterbury, CT to install two new canopies for the Gordon Ramsay’s television show 24 Hrs to Hell and Back. The episode aired tonight (January 16th 2019) on Fox and if your interested you can watch it now over on their website When I asked Dan Barnick, one of the owners of New Haven Awning, what is was like to do work for the show he said that it was very secretive and fast paced. “They weren’t sure what show they were doing it for only the name of restaurant they were designing the awnings for.” We used a fittingly named Sunbrella fabric called Mediterranean Blue for this Greek inspired restaurant. We also added some heat sealed graphics to showcase the name as well as highlighting the bar and restaurant entrances accordingly. Does your restaurant need a facelift? Don’t wait for a television show to find you! Contact New Haven Awning...

The Cooked Goose Gets An Outdoor Patio With Seasonal Panels!

A few months back New Haven Awning was in Westerly Rhode Island to install one of our custom patio enclosures. We equipped this patio with seasonal panels so in the summer they can easily be removed and their clients can enjoy the great ocean breeze. We used Tempotest fabric (T75 Navy) and our Mimaki CJV-30 to add some custom graphics on the front to really kick up that curb appeal If you’ve already read about our trip to Chowder Pot III then you know how awesome seasonal panels are and how they can help expand your restaurants seating by adding more tables that can be used all year round. But did you know that adding a patio enclosure can also reduce cooling costs during the hot summer months? You can read more about that here!   Are you ready to get you custom patio enclosure in time for the spring Contact NH Awning now!...
