A small awning can make a bigger difference than people think. At a stunning house in Fairfield, Connecticut, we recently finished two residential awning recovers. The job was not to completely alter the house because it already had a lot of great character. The goal was to give the windows a polished appearance and update the existing awnings.
For this job, we used Sunbrella Captain Navy fabric. The deep navy color looks great against the white brick and dark shutters. It also fits in nicely with the flowers, window boxes, and classic style of the home. From the street, the new fabric adds just enough color without taking over the whole front of the house.
This residential awning design was built around the home that was already there.
