Here’s a project we just finished for the Middletown South Fire District — a clean, sturdy Arch Entrance Canopy that gives the station a smart, protected entry. New Haven Awning built this custom awning to fit the doorway just right, so it looks like it belongs there. The arch shape keeps water moving off the entrance and makes the front of the building easy to spot.
The frame is aluminum, so it’s strong but not heavy. We covered the canopy with Sunbrella 60″ fabric in Cadet Grey (#6030-0000). Sunbrella holds color and brushes clean, so the canopy will keep looking good without a lot of fuss. Using 60″ panels also means fewer seams and a nicer, smoother finish across the arch.
