We’re excited to share some photos from a project we finished back in January for Inner Essence Spa in West Haven, CT. New Haven Awning designed, fabricated, and installed a beautiful convex awning over their entrance. As a team that does Custom Awnings for homes and businesses across Connecticut, it feels great to see the finished look and know the spa is ready to welcome guests in style.
This convex awning measures about 14 feet wide with a 4 foot drop and a 3 foot projection. We built it to fit the opening perfectly and to give a smooth, rounded look that draws the eye. The shape of a convex awning is great for catching attention while still giving real protection from sun and rain—perfect for an entrance that needs to look inviting and stay dry.
For the cover we used Weblon Coastline Plus in Ocean Blue (CP-2746). This fabric holds color well and cleans up easy, so the bright ocean blue will stay vivid even after lots of sun and weather. The Weblon Coastline Plus material matches the calm, spa vibe and keeps the space looking fresh for years. That little pop of color really makes the building stand out in the best way.
