Recently, we at New Haven Awning finished a project for Bartaco in Hingham, Massachusetts, where we installed detachable weather panels to enclose their outdoor dining space in front. This well-known restaurant, which is situated at 94 Derby Street, needed a way to ensure that patrons could eat in comfort regardless of the weather. We worked closely with them to design custom-made weather panels that are both functional and stylish.
The panels we installed were designed to withstand tough weather conditions while maintaining the outdoor space’s cozy, open feel. For this project, we made two 40-inch commercial doors using white Serge Ferrari 502 flame-retardant material, complete with insinglass windows. Bartaco’s outside dining area, besides being beautiful it is now useable all year, thanks to the addition of our panels, which offer clear visibility and protection from wind, rain, and colder temperatures.
